The holidays give me the perfect excuse to add additional ‘cute’ to my children’s wardrobes. I’ve tried to fight it, I’ve tried to keep my cool and buy just the bare minimum, but really? It’s impossible. There are too many gorgeous options, which just provide more adorable photo opportunities and bragging rights this holiday season. As I am an enabler, I thought it would be fun to put together three outfit ideas for boys and three for girls – all of which would be ideal for the holidays. Which is your favorite?
Boys: I’m a big fan of collared shirts and bow ties on baby boys. Zutano does both very well, focusing on softness and comfort. The Periwinkle Baby Button Shirt is simply adorable paired with the Motorway Bow Tie with it’s adjustable velcro closure. Red pants add a nice pop of color and tie everything in quite nicely. Dress baby in a little bit of luxury this holiday season with this luxurious Chinese sweater jacket and slim cuffed pants set from Tea. It is made from 100% Pima cotton, making it as comfy as it is stylish. Tea Collection’s Ski Stripe Layered Romper is bright, cheerful and features built-in layers for colder days. The color combination is appealing, while the romper style is excellent for quick diaper changes.
Girls: The bright geometric print on this gorgeous dress from Tea Collection is just perfect for the holidays, yet ideal for everyday wear. Pair it with these Sparkle Stripe Leggings for added flair and pizzaz. Purple or pink? Which do you choose for your little princess? You don’t have to choose with this Country Dress from Egg by Susan Lazar as it features several shades of both colors. You can dress your little lady in a pair of tights, or for a different look try mixing it up a bit with these Knit Denim Jeggings. Cheerful, bright and sweet. Those are the three words I would use to describe the Super Stripe Long Sleeve Henley Dress from Zutano. It reminds me of candy and adds a punch of ‘happy’ to your baby’s wardrobe. The aptly named Candy Stripe Legging goes well with this outfit.
